No matter the reason, it’s important to check and make sure that the vehicle that you use every day is safe for you and your family. Luckily, nowadays it’s very easy to look for recalls on your car or truck. Here are a few ways you can do so:
Directly contact your auto dealer
Go to your car dealer’s website and figure out who to call or email to find out about recalls. Some car manufacturer websites may also have pages dedicated to recall info, but you may have to do some digging.
Using Carma Project’s recall lookup page, you can enter your license plate or VIN, or upload a photo of your license plate to look up your car. If you’re using a mobile device, you can also take a picture of your license plate, making the lookup even easier.
