Do you drive a Honda or Acura?
If so, there’s a chance that your vehicle may have been affected by the Takata airbag recall. Just last Summer, Honda recalled 1.6 million more vehicles to replace faulty Takata airbag inflators, bringing the total to approximately 12.9 million vehicles.
Luckily, replacement parts are available for all vehicles, and the repair is FREE. Honda will also provide you with a loaner car during the repair, which usually can be fixed the same day.
It’s important to note that some cars brought to dealers for the Takata recall were originally replaced with other Takata airbags. These cars have been recalled again to have their inflators replaced with parts from a different company, so be sure to check your vehicle’s recall status, even if you’ve already brought it in once before.
Below is the full list of Honda and Acura vehicles affected by the Takata airbag recall. If you see your vehicle on the list, be sure to check its recall status. You can do this for free using Carma Project’s vehicle search tool.
